Particularities
The All Weather Hurricane outdoor blanket is a unique, completely airtight blanket for use in the paddock or meadow. The blanket guarantees a dry horse, even in heavy downpours. Therefore, the rug is perfect for horses that are outside 24/7. The rug is highly resistant to tearing or scratching and remains 100% waterproof without having to re-waterproof it.

Fabrics and materials
For 100% wind and water tightness, we used the same material as the waterproof horse coat, a PU coating. This coating is the same as that used for yellow fisherman's jackets. The coating is applied to the outside of the rug and is therefore unique in the equestrian rug market. Thanks to the artificial rabbit skin inside the rug, the rug is very gentle on your horse's skin and therefore prevents chafing marks. This lining also gives the horse a shiny coat and prevents a feeling of dampness under the blanket. The hurricane blanket features two classic brass-finished stainless steel closures at the front, two surcingles and a detachable, plastic-covered tail strap. The faux leather pieces and gold details will make your horse look sophisticated, even on rainy days.

Shape and size
The texture of the artificial rabbit skin is designed in such a way that it always springs back into place after your horse rolls or lies down. The additional flap protects the horse's tail against cold and humidity. If you want additional protection, you can purchase a separate neck cover to match the Hurricane cover. The neck cover is available in 0g or 150g and is easily detached from the cover thanks to two hook-and-loop fasteners. The neck cover is a little longer at the withers, so you don't have to worry about rain getting in.

Interview guide
To clean the Hurricane blanket, you can machine wash it at 30 degrees or simply clean it with water/sponge. It is best to let the blanket air dry afterwards. Unlike other waterproof blankets, this blanket does not need fluorinated carbon treatment as washing does not alter the waterproofness of this blanket.
