Does your horse need a little more chest space? Our chest extender will ensure each blanket fits perfectly. Our chest extension is universal and fits rugs with the same type of closure (like the Horseware Amigo rug).

The Chest Expander is perfect for horses with broad chests or broader horse breeds like the Quarter Horse.

Fabrics and materials
The exterior of the sheep chest extension is made entirely of our artificial sheepskin. This artificial sheepskin is the same material used in our sheep carrying halter. The chest extension is therefore comfortable and breathable. The chest extension provides additional protection in the chest area.
The exterior of the 2-loop quilted sheep chest extension is made of 600D polyester with diamond quilting. It matches our stable rug perfectly. This outer fabric is very resistant to tearing. The interior of the chest extension is made of our famous artificial sheepskin, which is also used for our famous sheep transport halter. It is therefore extremely soft to the touch.

In addition to the buckle closures, there is velcro to ensure that the chest extension stays in place.

Shape and size
This chest extension offers up to an additional 19 cm. This chest extension is available with one or two loops. The distance between the two loops is 12 cm.

Maintenance tips
Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing them as infrequently as possible and using our protective wash bags in order to maintain quality in the long term. We also recommend using professional machines (larger capacity) to limit the damage caused by the drum of a normal washing machine. To dry, simply place it outside on a sunny day. Tumble drying is not recommended.
