Federal guide Galop 5 to 9 Volume 2 - FFE

The Federal Galops Guides® of the French Equestrian Federation offer a path of acquisition to be followed by the rider to become an accomplished horseman or woman.

In accordance with the 2022 Galops® program, the Federal Guide to Galops® 5 to 9 includes two volumes: Equestrian Practice and Equestrian Knowledge.

This volume 2 entitled Equestrian Knowledge has two large chapters.
• Knowledge of the horse places great emphasis on its animal nature to fully understand it and ensure its well-being. They include development on its anatomy and on breeds, coats and identification.
• General Knowledge opens with the history of horses and riding.

They recall the great masters, the great schools and the French Olympic champions. The chapter continues with the presentation of the institutional environment of horse riding and concludes with the organization of the competition.

Complementing the Guides, the Progress Scale covers the stages of horse training.
