The hoof is the protective covering of the internal structures of the horse's foot. Its wall is made of rigid horn which nevertheless retains a certain flexibility and mobility essential for absorbing shocks. In the summer season or on dry or even brittle feet, it is essential to provide it with the elements necessary for good elasticity.

Pedigard Ointment Blond is a complex of nourishing oils combined with essential oils and beeswax. Rapeseed oil is rich in omega 3 and vitamin E which gives it nourishing and antioxidant properties. Macadamia oil, extremely penetrating, deeply softens the horn. Its fatty acid composition close to that of sebum is anti-dehydration. Beeswax is rich in vitamin A and its waterproof action helps retain water in the foot. Deeply rehydrated, the foot regains all its biomechanical properties.

Manual

Apply Pedigard Ointment Blond to the external part of the foot during your daily care. You can also apply it to the sole and fork if they are perfectly dry and healthy. Close tightly after use.

Separating the maintenance of the top (external wall) and bottom (sole and frog) of the foot is entirely possible and even strongly recommended in certain cases. In the event of even slight damage, or excessive humidity of the sole and frog, prefer the application of Pediflex fluid oil in order to strengthen the horn while allowing the humidity to escape. In case of excessively damaged frogs, apply Pedicade to the frogs and glômes.
